"After arriving in the bad weather we were quickly made comfortable not only in accommodations but in good company as well. We enjoyed all of the visiting and getting to know each other around the table. Everything about the accommodations was comfortable, cozy and relaxing. We literally felt like we were at a home away from home. The food was awesome and delicious and we appreciate the cake and cookies and snacks that were available to the boys. Pam, Leif, and yourself were very kind and the proof was in the pudding when my normally shy Son opened up the way he did and joined the conversations. Thanks to all three of y’all for making us feel like Family.

Out onto the ranch and into the blinds, the trip continued to be a wonderful experience. Simply watching the amazing deer on the beautiful country side had me fully satisfied even if that was the end of it. But the highlight of the experience for both Ken and myself was the courteous and patient way the boys were treated and educated while we were in the blinds. We could tell y’all were genuinely interested in them not only having a great trip, but becoming better hunters than when they arrived. Heading home with venison in the ice chests was icing on the cake. It was a great experience for all four of us! Thank you!"

"Mr. and Mrs. Emmons are very welcoming at the Starry Night Ranch. Their home and adjacent lodging are like new. The bedrooms and living areas were very clean and comfortable. Lots of snacks, bottled water and canned sodas in the cabins. The separate baths were stocked with supplies, and the shower very large. The meals were prepared daily, were delicious and in very adequate supply. The desserts were fantastic. The deer, black bucks and other wildlife were numerous, very healthy, and were available in all sections of the ranch. Mr. Emmons keeps the skinning and cleaning area very clean. This area has an electric lift and cooler storage area for hanging deer. The four wheelers were clean and adequately carried us about the ranch and different blinds. The blinds are like new and spacious. The feeders are large and operate and function with a timer. The ranch also has a shooting range for sighting in hunters' rifles. This is a first-class ranch with opportunities that will make wonderful memories for years to come. We liked everything. This is a well thought-out operation and the Emmons make you feel like family."
